Common questions

I subscribed, but Shyne still shows the paywall

Open Settings → Subscription in the app and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you are signed into the same Apple Account you subscribed with — a subscription follows the Apple Account, not the email you used to make your Shyne profile.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are billed by Apple, so they are cancelled on the device: iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Shyne → Cancel Subscription. You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. Deleting the app or your Shyne account does not cancel billing.

How do I request a refund?

Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us — we have no way to issue one. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with your Apple Account.

How do I delete my account and my data?

In the app, Settings → Delete Account. It removes your profile and synced account data end to end, in one step. Your journal, signs, custom affirmations and 369 recordings were only ever on your device, so deleting the app removes those with it. See the privacy policy for exactly what lives where.

I got a new iPhone — does my practice come with me?

Sign in with the same account and your profile and subscription follow you. Your journal entries, signs and voice recordings are stored on the device itself and do not transfer — that is the same choice that means we never see them. If you still have the old device, keep it until you have re-read anything you want to carry over.

The 369 practice isn't recognising my voice

Spoken mode needs microphone and speech recognition permission: iOS Settings → Shyne, and turn on both Microphone and Speech Recognition. It works best in a quiet room, spoken at a normal pace. You can always switch to written mode on the same screen — the practice counts either way.

Sound stops when I lock my phone

Attune is built to keep playing on the lock screen. If it stops, check that Shyne is not being suspended by Low Power Mode, and that the sleep timer has not run out — it counts your listening rather than the wall clock, so it can end mid-session if you paused.

Is Shyne available on Android?

Not today. Shyne is built entirely in SwiftUI for iPhone and iPad, including the widgets and the Control Center button.
